Day 17- Passover

Bible

Read Exodus 12

Key Verse: Exodus 12:13

The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Key Thought

The blood of Jesus covers us from all sin.

The Voice of the Enemy

Our counterfeit has been uncovered. Our lies have been called out and defeated. We have been exposed for who we are. The humans have discovered our kryptonite—the one thing that we have zero power over—those who are under the blood. If someone is under the blood of Jesus, if their sin is under the blood of Jesus, then we are truly defeated. The only thing we can do at this point is to bring lies and false accusations, to desperately try to remind them of their past sins and failures. But if they plead the blood, if they remind us that they are under the blood, turn and run! You have no power or authority and you will be destroyed.

The Voice of the Father

My son/ my daughter, I have provided the perfect Lamb for you. His blood is available for you and your family. I will cover you and cleanse you. I will protect you. The destroying angel will not come near your or near your tent. The blood of Jesus will cleanse you of all your sin and iniquity. There is nothing that you have done, or could ever do, that, if confessed to me, stands up to the blood of Jesus. And when the enemy accuses you of past faults and failures—sins that have been confessed and are under the blood—that is not a charge against you; that is a charge against me! The enemy is saying, “the blood of Jesus isn’t good enough to cleanse your sins.” My child, I don’t take that kind of affront lightly! My blood is sufficient! It is sufficient to cleanse you, heal you, protect you, and restore you! If you simply confess your sin to me, I will place you under the blood of Jesus.

Questions

Are you under the blood of Jesus?

Have you fully surrendered your heart to him?

Have you made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior? Do you know for certain that if you died, heaven would be your home?

If not, simply pray a prayer like this:

Dear Jesus. I know that I am a sinner. I confess my sin to you. I bring all my sin to the cross and I ask you to forgive me. I ask you to come into my heart and come into my life. Help me to live wide awake to the love of God and fully alive to my purpose. Amen.
